Plum Market on Woodward Avenue and Larned in downtown Detroit became a popular lunch destination when it opened in July 2019. Then came the pandemic and it closed.

On Thursday, it reopens as a cashless business, according to the company site.

The Detroit Free Press reports:

Inside, the market expects, for now,  a grab-and-go focus on chef-created breakfasts and lunches. There will be self-service food bars with salads, soups and seasonal entrees made from all-natural meats and plant-based proteins, according to a news release.

The store was designed to be fast-casual with quick-service options. Sandwiches, parfaits and freshly cut vegetables are also available to go.
